Associate Specialist, Cell Therapy

Typical Accountabilities- Conduct technical tasks such as basic equipment checks, make vital adjustments, and perform operational duties to support smooth manufacturing or packaging operations.- Follow defined standard operating procedures (SOPs), adhere to safety requirements, and maintain accurate documentation to ensure compliance.- Assist with routine diagnostic tasks or identify simple faults, advancing more complex problems to experienced team members for resolution.- Participate in activities like cleaning, calibration, test setup, or performing repairs under supervision to maintain operational efficiency.- Build foundational knowledge about manufacturing systems, tools, and production workflows to help maintain consistent output and high-quality standards.- Contribute to continuous improvement efforts by providing detailed and insightful feedback based on daily operational experiences.- Is eager to build skills in, quickly adapt to, and embrace new digital tools and technologies.- Collaborate with team members to support digital adoption within area.Qualifications and Skills

Required Qualifications

• High School Diploma with at least 5 years of relevant GMP manufacturing experience, or Bachelor’s degree with at least 2 years of relevant experience in a science, engineering, or related field

• Understanding of cGMP processes and regulated manufacturing requirements

• Knowledge of aseptic technique, cleanroom behavior, and GMP documentation practices

• Experience supporting GMP clinical manufacturing, technology transfer, or process implementation

• Ability to develop solutions to routine and moderately complicated problems using established procedures, precedent, and good judgment

• Ability to plan and coordinate assigned work with limited supervision

• Strong written and verbal communication skills

• Ability to work effectively in a fast paced and changing manufacturing environment

Preferred Qualifications

• Cell therapy manufacturing experience

• Experience with primary human cell culture, single use technologies, or automated cell processing equipment

• Experience with paper and electronic batch records, manufacturing execution systems, inventory systems, or quality management systems.

The annual base pay (or hourly rate of compensation) for this position ranges from $65,081.60 - $97,622.40.. Our positions offer eligibility for various incentives—an opportunity to receive short-term incentive bonuses, equity-based awards for salaried roles and commissions for sales roles. Benefits offered include qualified retirement programs, paid time off (i.e., vacation, holiday, and leaves), as well as health, dental, and vision coverage in accordance with the terms of the applicable plans.
